Walter P Moore is seeking a water resources engineer with a sound technical background and strong written and oral communication skills to tackle water resources challenges. The role emphasizes understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles and proficiency with Excel.

Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM5 or ArcGIS is preferred, and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with a master's focus in water resources is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; master's with hydrology/hydraulics or water resources preferred.
• Completed or currently enrolled in university coursework in hydrology or hydraulics.
• Strong written communication and technical writing skills.
• Excellent verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Apply sound hydrology/hydraulics principles to water resources projects.
• Support civil site development or drainage study efforts as needed.
• Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Leverage HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM5 or ArcGIS to develop solutions.

Responsibilities

Candidates should have a sound technical background, strong written and oral communication skills, and enthusiasm for the challenges of water resources engineering. Understanding of basic hydrologic and hydraulic principles and familiarity with Microsoft Excel is required. Prior experience on civil site development or drainage study projects is beneficial, but not required. Experience with HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, SWMM5 and/or ArcGIS is preferred.

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred with emphasis in hydrology/hydraulics, water resources or related field);
