Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking an Engineering intern to support the APX Supply Chain organization in the execution and delivery of AP1000 nuclear plant equipment and components. This paid full-time onsite summer internship runs May–August 2027 at the Cranberry facility.

You will report to the Delivery Stream Manager and collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management teams while gaining exposure to nuclear quality, safety, and business processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.
• Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and supply chain teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities
• Help with data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking related to suppliers, projects, schedules, and operational metrics
• Help analyze technical, quality, operational, or performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Support the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, reports, presentations, and process records
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Supplier Quality, Supplier Performance, Logistics, and Project Management teams
• Help with issue identification, root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, and continuous improvement projects
• Learn and apply applicable nuclear quality, safety, compliance, and business process requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering
