Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is offering a paid full-time engineering internship onsite at the Cranberry facility for the summer of 2027 (May–August). The role supports the APX Supply Chain organization in executing AP1000 plant equipment and components, reporting to the Delivery Stream Manager.

Responsibilities include supporting planning, data analysis, and documentation, with collaboration across engineering, procurement, supplier quality, and logistics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.
• Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and supply chain teams in planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities.
• Help with data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking related to suppliers, projects, schedules, and operational metrics.
• Help analyze technical, quality, operational, or performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, reports, presentations, and process records.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Supplier Quality, Supplier Performance, Logistics, and Project Management teams.
• Help with issue identification, root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, and continuous improvement projects.
• Learn and apply applicable nuclear quality, safety, compliance, and business process requirements.
