Job summary

Qualus invites aspiring electrical engineers for a hands-on internship in our Engineering department. You will support our teams by creating electrical drawings in AutoCAD and MicroStation, assist with QC, and help with project documentation while building essential professional skills.

This in-office internship offers full-time or part-time flexibility, designed for ABET-accredited BS/BE students in Electrical Engineering, authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/BE in Electrical Engineering in an ABET-accredited program.
• Proficiency or familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit electrical drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Learn and assist with QC checks on electrical drawings under senior engineers.
• Support project documentation and general office tasks.
• Apply company processes, procedures, and client standards in project work.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and gain exposure to multiple project phases.
• Provide administrative support as needed.

Power your future with Qualus in our Engineering department as a n Engineering Intern! At Qualus, our Engineering Interns gain hands-on experience by supporting our engineering teams on real-world projects. Interns assist in preparing electrical design packages, developing drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and learning the quality control (QC) process alongside senior engineers. They also provide project documentation support and contribute to general office tasks, all while building valuable technical and professional skills.

This internship is designed to give students the opportunity to apply their coursework in a professional setting, explore career paths in engineering, and learn directly from experienced mentors.

Full-time or part-time flexibility available; all interns must be in-office at a Qualus office location.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.

• Support project documentation and general office tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Full time student in an ABET-accredited program pursuing BS/BE degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
