Job summary

Interns will gain experience across roles such as Product Design, Simulation/Performance Analysis, Test/Validation, and Embedded Software Development, among others. Attendees will develop hands-on skills in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Agricultural or Aerospace engineering while collaborating with a diverse team and networking across levels of Caterpillar employees.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in a 4-year ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Completed at least 24 semester hours before the start of the internship.
• If a transfer student, must have 12 semester hours completed at a 4-year university.
• Must have a minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA at time of application.
• Must maintain 3.0/4.0 GPA prior to start of internship.
• Must relocate to Peoria, IL area or indicated work location for the duration of the internship and commute reliably.
