Qualifications

• Enrolled student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of heat treating and mechanical testing basics.
• Interest in manufacturing and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Reduce steel usage, optimize stock size, shorten lead times and cut scrap.
• Drive manufacturing technological improvements.
• Formulate strategies and implement robotics initiatives.
• Improve plant velocity and throughput.
• Digitize processes to reduce paper usage.
• Estimate time improvements for tasks and projects.
• Eliminate unnecessary processes and drive improvements.
• Research and develop materials and processes for better performance.
• Research and recommend industry best practices.
• Aim to reduce energy consumption across operations.
• Plan and implement strategies for plant expansion projects.
