Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a BOLT Intern to gain hands-on experience in the energy industry. Based in Brentwood, Tennessee, you will support pipeline operations, assist with safety and regulatory tracking, and contribute to projects that improve reliability and efficiency.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or Electrical Engineering and possess strong communication, teamwork, and technical writing abilities. Some overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or Electrical Engineering, ideally as a Junior or Senior.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to write technically and clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to operations of natural gas pipelines.
• Develop and review safety and regulatory tracking and reporting.
• Analyze operational data and develop performance metrics.
• Support projects to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Perform pipeline and compressor engineering calculations.
• Prepare capstone presentation to summarize internship activities.
