Job summary

JEA is offering a paid 2027 Summer Internship in Engineering – Other Disciplines in Jacksonville, FL. The role provides real-world, on-the-job experience across engineering fields such as Computer, Chemical, Systems, or Materials Engineering.

Students will network with professionals to develop leadership and presentation skills. Eligible candidates are rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors pursuing an Engineering degree, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and must attach a transcript.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Transcript must be attached to verify GPA.
• Available to work a 32-hour work week for 13 weeks between May and August (Jacksonville, FL).

Responsibilities

• Support various technical teams across engineering disciplines.
• Assist with operations, planning, data analysis, process improvement, and project coordination.
• Contribute to technical problem-solving within a public-utility environment.

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Systems Engineering / Materials Engineering
