Job summary

TYLin International is seeking a Civil Engineering student intern to support engineering projects. You will perform quantity take-offs, monitor schedules, and assist with modeling and cost estimates under senior engineers.

Collaboration with engineers and drafters, site visits, and adherence to codes and standards are part of the role. Ideal candidates are 3rd- or 4th-year students or graduates with strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office and engineering

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a 3rd/4th year undergraduate or graduate student in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software (SAP2000, CSI Bridge, etc.) preferred.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
• Perform quantity take-offs.
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
• Assist with computer modeling.
• Assist with producing progress reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and support staff.
• Assist in producing drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under supervision.
• Apply codes and standards in deliverables.
• Attend site visits or inspections.
