Job summary

TYLin International in the United States is seeking a Civil Engineering student intern to support engineering projects through quantity take-offs, project monitoring, scheduling, computer modeling, and preparation of drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under senior engineer supervision.

Ideal candidates are 3rd- or 4th-year students with strong organizational, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Current 3rd or 4th year standing in an accredited Civil Engineering program or graduate student.
• BS degree preferred for the role and related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
• Perform quantity take-offs.
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
• Assist with computer modeling.
• Assist with progress reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters and support staff.
• Produce engineering drawings, calculations and cost estimates under supervision.
