Job summary

Alta Environmental & Infrastructure – Tucson is seeking energetic engineering interns to support geotechnical and civil projects. You will assist in technical report preparation, field sampling, and soil testing under licensed professionals, with opportunities to grow through hands-on training.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in Geotechnical/Civil/Geological Engineering programs, possess a valid driver’s license, and can travel to project sites for fieldwork, with a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college or recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Geological Engineering or related field.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive to our project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing technical reports
• Ability to work on a team or independently on less complex projects
• Travel to and perform field sampling or testing
• Collect and classify soil samples for geotechnical investigations
• Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
