Job summary

ITT Inc. in Santa Rosa, CA, invites engineering students to join as a Summer 2027 Engineering Intern. The role focuses on hands-on experience in vibration isolation, noise attenuation and shock absorption for aerospace applications.

Students work with seasoned professionals on real-world projects within our connector sector of the oil and gas industries. The program targets Mechanical Engineering and Product Design majors, with sophomore or junior class years and May–August 2027 full-time

Qualifications

Enrolled in Process / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering for a Bachelor's degree.
Cable, over-mold experience a PLUS.
Working knowledge of Engineering functions.
CAD/ProE experience helpful; manufacturability and Lean knowledge a plus.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Access.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Improve critical business processes and drive financial results.
Identify project scopes and develop project plans and business cases.
Track and measure project results with the team.
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering to streamline processes and increase yields using Six Sigma Lean principles.
Design and implement processing methods including rubber molding to reduce variability and costs.
Lead improvement projects within the value center and coordinate with project teams.
