Job summary

Woodward is offering an internship across Mechanical, Operations, Manufacturing, Industrial, Software, or Computer Science majors in the Aerospace and Energy sector in Spartanburg, SC. Interns gain hands-on experience and may transition to full-time after the program.

Typical duties include supporting actuation systems, data analysis, and engineering changes, with opportunities to develop CAD (PTC Creo) and LabVIEW skills while collaborating with professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a sophomore in an accredited College or University program and have an acceptable grade point average.
• No experience required; internship or other working experience is a plus.
• ITAR/EAR compliance and must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR and EAR or have required authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Support Aerospace Actuation Systems - Hydraulics Engineering team with product intro and sustaining processes.
• Assist with data analysis, report writing, and engineering investigations.
• Engineering project support including changes, data analysis, and root cause actions.
• Production support including data collection, troubleshooting, and nonconformance actions.
• Assist project engineers in R&D and testing of electromechanical products.
