Job summary

Woodward offers an internship in Florida for students majoring in Mechanical, Operations, Manufacturing, Industrial, Software, or Computer Science. The program provides exposure to the Aerospace and Energy industries and can lead to full-time employment after graduation.

You will support actuation systems engineering, assist with data analysis, and participate in project work and testing. CAD tools (PTC Creo) and LabVIEW experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Sophomore status in an accredited college/university with acceptable GPA.
• No experience required; internship or prior work experience a plus.
• ITAR/EAR compliance awareness and ability to comply with U.S. regulations for internship applicants.

Responsibilities

• Support Aerospace Actuation Systems hydraulics engineering team with evaluations and designs.
• Assist with data analysis, report writing, and investigation findings.
• Provide engineering project support including changes, data analysis, and CAPA.
• Support assembly and test production activities and data collection.
• Assist project engineers on research, design, fabrication and testing of electromechanical products.
