Job summary

Johns Manville invites engineering students to join the Richmond, IN internship program where you will work alongside engineers and plant leadership on hands-on activities, sampling, and documentation initiatives.

You will participate in product development projects under mentors, develop process documentation, and contribute to laboratory reporting while building real-world skills in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics or Industrial Engineering Technology).
• Completed at least Freshman year and enrolled in an Engineering major.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Prior internship experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services for less complex technical problems and recommend a course of action.
• Provide engineering services for more complex problems under direct guidance of higher-level engineering personnel.
• Take an active part in the execution of product development projects.
• Assist Sr. Engineers on technical service initiatives with sampling, analysis, and recommendations.
• Develop and integrate product and process documentation ensuring consistency and accuracy
• Provide project status and laboratory reports as required.
