Shine BrightX LLC in Carmel, IN is seeking an engineering-oriented intern to contribute to hands-on projects across process improvement, Lean manufacturing, and automation initiatives. You will engage in data analytics efforts, including AI and predictive models, while supporting maintenance and technology development.

Qualifications

• Second year of engineering or technology degree preferred.
• Demonstrate safety awareness, curiosity, passion for excellence, and a willingness to learn and do the right thing.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in process improvement, including development, trial, validation, and documentation of new and existing activities.
• Assist in implementing Lean Manufacturing methods and procedures to streamline processes and reduce waste.
• Contribute to the review and design of automation opportunities.
• Support data analytics efforts including AI, predictive and prescriptive models, floor interface support, learning tools, and data collection and interpretation.
• Optimize material handling through fleet and pathway optimization and AGV/AMR delivery automation.
• Support maintenance activities including TPM and preventive, predictive, and prescriptive maintenance tools.
• Develop and standardize new technologies applicable to varied manufacturing processes.
