Job summary

Leidos’ Defense Systems, Threat Modeling & Simulation Portfolio, is seeking a talented Engineering Intern for modeling & simulation applications with the ability to potentially work multiple projects within the Threat Modeling & Simulation Portfolio. This internship has the flexibility to be part-time (12 hours minimum) or full-time, depending on school schedule.

You will join a diverse team of junior-to-senior software developers, engineers, and scientists to help create unique solutions for

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, engineering physics, physics, software engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
• Experience solving problems with MATLAB/Python/C++ or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen able to obtain DoD clearance; must be able to work 12–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers and scientists on modeling and simulation problems across EO/IR, radar, directed energy, and command & control systems.
• Demonstrate strong academic performance and technical capability across overlapping disciplines.
• Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
