Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. in Los Angeles seeks an engineering intern pursuing a bachelor's degree to assist in basic engineering calculations and the design of systems under direct supervision.

You will prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics, and help modify reports and project plans. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in ABET-accredited programs, have coursework in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and drafting, and show a willingness to learn, document work thoroughly, and collaborate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architectural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Drafting certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic engineering calculations and assist with the design of engineering systems under direct supervision.
• Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Assist in the preparation and modification of reports, plans, and project designs.
• Organize and maintain project materials, references, and documentation.
• Assist with the selection of basic equipment and system components.
• Coordinate activities and project information with other disciplines.
• Produce construction documents and supporting project documentation as required.
• Maintain and expand proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Support drafting and modeling efforts for engineering projects.
