Permobil is seeking an Engineering Intern to contribute to hands-on design, testing, and development projects in Pasco, WA. This part-time role (30-40 hours/week) offers a pay range of $22.00–$27.00 per hour and is ideal for students actively pursuing Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering degrees.

You'll work under guidance to build foundational skills, perform entry-level engineering tasks, assist with test setup and documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering program.
• Prior co-op/internship experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to engineering projects by completing well-defined tasks under close guidance and mentorship.
• Supports engineering test activities, including test setup, execution, documentation and reporting.
• Applies classroom knowledge to real-world design, testing and development while learning company tools, standards and processes.
• Documents test results clearly and prepares well-structured reports.
