Job summary

Prime Controls is seeking an Engineering Intern to support the engineering team with instrumentation and electrical system deliverables across data center, energy, semiconductor, and water/wastewater markets. You will work closely with senior engineers from design through commissioning on real projects.

The role requires pursuing an engineering degree, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a willingness to learn in both office and field settings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or related engineering.
• Rising junior or senior in good academic standing.
• Coursework in controls, circuits, or automation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Available to work full-time for the summer.

Responsibilities

• Support design engineers with instrumentation and electrical design deliverables.
• Assist with PLC, HMI, and SCADA configuration and testing.
• Participate in FAT and systems engineering tasks.
• Help compile submittals, docs, and BOMs.
• Attend meetings and site walkdowns to learn end-to-end execution.
