Job summary

Barnes Aerospace in Warren, MI invites students pursuing a related degree to join as an intern. You will learn about the company's capabilities, work with mentors, and gain exposure to senior management through group and individual activities.

You will assist with projects to meet business and manufacturing requirements, coordinate new process techniques to improve efficiency, and create CAD models and MOS-style drawings using ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Degree in a related field.
• Customer focused; demonstrate initiative; ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
• Clear and concise verbal communication and written documentation skills; teamwork is essential; organizational skills.
• The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the USA.
• Must be able to pass a federal DOT drug and alcohol test and comply with ongoing random testing.

• Ensures adherence to applicable MB Aerospace internal, federal, state and local laws and regulations related to compliance and takes responsibility to ensure ongoing conformity with such rules and regulations.
