Job summary

Daikin Applied invites qualified students to join as Engineering Interns, gaining hands-on experience on real business needs and learning from seasoned professionals. You will work on meaningful projects, analyze data, and support HVAC product development while building practical technical skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's or master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with anticipated graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2029.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD or similar tool preferred.
• Foundational engineering coursework in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Statics, Dynamics, Manufacturing Processes or related courses preferred.

What we are looking for

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's or master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related discipline, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029. Graduate-level students are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or a similar tool preferred.
• Foundational engineering coursework such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Statics, Dynamics, Manufacturing Processes, or related courses preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
