Job description

• Complete a temporary 12-continuous-week summer engineering internship beginning in May or June 2027
• Contribute to the manufacturing organization through an assigned engineering project
• Build understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and engineers' role in creating solutions
• Interact with engineering and manufacturing professionals, including Lilly senior management
• Provide a practical real-life solution to a manufacturing or business-related technical project
• Work individually and with a supervisor to determine and achieve project goals
• Document and present project accomplishments and progress
• Present project highlights, findings, and general internship accomplishments to engineering and manufacturing professionals at the conclusion of the internship
• Potentially work in process, automation, digital manufacturing, facilities, injectable products, APIs, device manufacturing, packaging, robotics, or facilities delivery

Requirements

• Currently attending a BS or MS Engineering program
• Must have completed sophomore or junior year prior to the internship
• Degree completion by August 2029
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
