The successful candidate will uphold professional conduct, develop curricula aligned with course objectives, evaluate student progress, and maintain required records.

Qualifications

• Master’s in engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Bachelor’s in engineering with a master’s in math/physics/CS/chem/geology as alternative.
• Valid California Community College Credential or demonstrated equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of professional conduct and ethics in teaching Engineering.
• Teach developmental and transfer engineering courses offered by the department.
• Use diverse pedagogies and technology for face‑to‑face, online, and/or hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students.
• Use appropriate teaching methods and approved outlines of record.
• Evaluate student progress per course objectives.
• Provide course syllabi and maintain classroom records.
• Submit grading and evaluation in a timely manner.
• Fulfill duties per Administrative Regulation 7122.
