Job summary

New Jersey State League of Municipalities in Roxbury Township is seeking a part-time Engineering Inspector to support municipal infrastructure projects. This position offers approximately 20 hours per week with field inspection duties across concrete, asphalt, utilities, grading and drainage.

Reading and interpreting plans and reporting on installations for public and private development will be required. A valid New Jersey driver's license is required.

Engineering Inspector - Roxbury Township.

Part-time Engineering Inspector position available working approximately 20 hours per week. Position requires experience in the inspection of construction practices in concrete, asphalt, underground utilities, grading and drainage. Job duties include, but are not limited to, field inspecting and reporting on the installation of utility and associated infrastructure improvements related to public and private development projects. Knowledge of associated construction procedures, ability to read and interpret plans, use of standard office equipment including computer and programs relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the job, and a valid N.J. driver's license are required. EOE. The hourly rate for this position is $25 per hour.
