Job summary

Orica offers a two-year Engineering Graduate Program designed to accelerate your professional growth through hands-on rotations and mentoring from industry experts. You will gain exposure to Field Operations, Technical Services, Manufacturing, Technology and Commercial, with real responsibilities from day one.

Graduates from Chemical, Mechanical, Geology or other Engineering disciplines can apply. You may relocate across the United States for rotations and be open to a future remote location

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Willing to relocate for rotations across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a two-year rotational program across core business units.
  • Receive coaching and on-the-job training with career management guidance.
  • Rotate through fields such as Field Operations, Technical Services, Manufacturing, Technology and Commercial.

Our two-year rotational Engineering Graduate Program offers engaging and diverse rotations to give you the experience you need to set your career up for success.

What You We Be Doing

During the two-year graduate program, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge with coaching, on-the-job-training and career management guidance.

You will have your own personalized learning roadmap, to guide your experience and ensure your distinct potential is supported.

The Orica Graduate Program is focused on developing graduates across our core business units such as:

Our graduates rotate through several technical on-site rotations. These core rotations are designed to give you a solid foundation for your professional development and prepare you as you transition into your professional career. Some example rotations include Field Operations, Technical Services, Manufacturing, Technology and Commercial.

Degrees and Disciplines

Orica accepts graduates from a range of engineering disciplines including:

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Geology or Geological Engineering
  • Other Engineering degrees, as appropriate
  • Be eligible to work within the United States with no sponsorship
  • Be eligible to drive a motor vehicle in the United States
  • Be in your final year of your university undergraduate degree or have completed your degree within the last year
  • Be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check, medical and drug screen
  • Be open to living and working anywhere in the United States
