Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY is seeking a skilled Engineering and Maintenance Administrator to oversee the operation of the Engineering and Maintenance services at the Weiler campus. The role also supports Engineering and Fire & Safety administration and manages department fiscal operations to meet hospital objectives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• 4-6 years of administrative/operational experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and payroll/timekeeping systems.
• Familiarity with SAP Finance, SAP/HCM, Kronos, EPIC, STRATA Jazz and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain direct correspondence with municipal agencies and ensure filings like permits and fees.
• Support budgeting, capital funds, and annual operating budgets; manage cost control.
• Develop and monitor policies for Engineering; conduct audits and report to the Director of Engineering.
• Operate and maintain PC-based systems for accounts payable, capital funds, space allocation and preventive maintenance.
• Oversee engineering and maintenance activities at the Weiler campus, including groundskeeping and snow removal.
