Job summary

The Ohio State University seeks an Experiential Education Manager in the College of Engineering, Career Services. You will lead the Co-op and Internship Program, supervise Peer Career Coaches, and drive employer partnerships to expand opportunities for engineering students.

You will also oversee program policies, assessments, and curricular alignment for ENGR 4191, coordinating with staff and stakeholders to ensure high-quality experiential learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the listed fields; 6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record in program planning and administration.
• Experience in employer relations and career advising.
• Experience with training, supervising, and/or team development.
• Strong organizational abilities, presentation skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Directs and administers the Co-op and Internship Program, including supervision of Peer Career Coaches.
• Establishes policies and services for students and employers and promotes experiential learning.
• Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting for publications and communications.
• Liaison to university partners and external cooperative education organizations.
• Leads planning and execution of co-op/internship events and workshops.
• Provide individual career coaching and campus employer outreach.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education/Education; Communications; Counseling/Psychology; Business Administration/Management; Human Resources/Recruiting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Master’s degree in Higher Education/Education; Communications; Counseling/Psychology; Business Administration/Management; Human Resources/Recruiting.
