Job summary

Miller Electric Mfg. LLC is seeking a Documentation Technician to join the Engineering team.

You will create and refine engineering deliverables, including drawings, circuits, ECOs, BOM versions and service manuals, collaborating across NPD and sustaining teams to ensure accurate documentation for current and new products. In this role you will coordinate supplier documentation, participate in meetings to update standards, and support cross‑functional documentation initiatives, balancing

Qualifications

• Pursuing an associate degree in mechanical design or related field.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to produce clear, accurate, and detailed technical documentation.
• Able to work in both team-based and independent environments with initiative and good judgment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; balance multiple tasks and ensure standardized documentation.
• Familiarity with electrical circuit diagrams and BOMs exposure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Arena Empower (Omnify) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Experience with 2D and 3D modeling tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

• Create and modify engineering deliverables including drawings, models, BOMs, ECOs and service docs.
• Collaborate with Technical Publications, Engineering, Service and Marketing across NPD and sustainment.
• Coordinate supplier documentation packages for internal and external suppliers.
• Attend Documentation Technician meetings to align with standards.
• Facilitate ECO meetings between Engineering, Operations, and Materials teams.
