Winland Foods, Inc. seeks a Director of Engineering to lead the manufacturing engineering strategy across our network of facilities.

You will drive capital investments and partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Finance to ensure safety, cost per pound, and quality improvements. This role demands 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, proven cross-functional leadership, and strong capital planning skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience; multi-site experience preferred.
• Proven track record in capital planning and project management.
• Strong leadership with ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Advance a continuous improvement culture to improve cost per pound and productivity.
• Drive standardization of processes and best practices across sites.
• Lead capital planning and execution to optimize capacity and upgrades.
• Develop and manage the 5-year CAPEX plan for the Pasta Plant network.
• Lead and support project development through stages including approvals and commissioning.
• Develop business case screening scopes and cost estimates.
