Winland Foods is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the manufacturing engineering strategy across 11 facilities. You will drive capital investment, process optimization, and safety performance while guiding a team of engineers and collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Finance.

The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong leadership, and a track record in capital planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering required with 10+ years in manufacturing engineering.
• Proven track record in capital planning, project management and multi-site leadership.
• Strong collaboration across Operations, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Finance.
• Working knowledge of GMP, OSHA/EPA and food manufacturing regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Project and MS 365 suite.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Advance continuous improvement to improve cost per pound and productivity.
• Lead capital planning, capex execution and technology upgrades.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
• Ensure safety and food safety remain non-negotiable priorities.
