Job summary

ENFRA Solutions seeks a Director of Engineering to direct engineering design and commissioning activities across projects. You will lead a design team of project managers, engineers, and technicians, ensuring alignment with client requirements and schedules, while overseeing commissioning efforts to meet project timelines.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 5+ years PM experience (or 15+ years with the company), and a Professional Engineer license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a 4-year accredited program.
• Alternative Minimum Qualifications: Engineering Technology or Construction Management Degree.
• 5 years minimum experience as a Project Manager.
• Professional Engineering License.
• Must be able to lead presentations for marketing and business development for projects.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Directs a design team of project managers, engineers, and technical staff in the development of building designs that support client requirement and schedule.
• Directs a commissioning team of commissioning agents and technicians to perform the commissioning functions that support client requirement and schedule.
• Delegates projects among engineering or commissioning staff according to knowledge and abilities; considers project requirements.
• Approves process specification and design or commissioning standards, and reviews engineering designs for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains a strong relationship with clients and vendors, and develops new and expanded business based upon successful delivery of existing projects.
