Berkeley County (SC) Government seeks a Civil Engineering Program Manager to direct the Engineering Department, oversee day-to-day operations, staff supervision and budget preparation. You will interact with citizens and colleagues to uphold service standards.

The role guides project delivery, reviews site plans, manages consulting contracts and road improvement programs, and coordinates with Legal on land/ easements. A SC PE license and ABET degree are required.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of related Engineering Program Management experience.
• 6+ years of supervisory experience required.
• Professional Engineer license in South Carolina required.
• Must have and maintain a valid SC driver's license with safe driving record.
• Criminal background check may be required.

• Directs the daily operations of the Engineering Department and staff.
• Executes policies provided by the County Supervisor's office; manages budgets.
• Oversees consulting contracts and road improvement programs.
• Reviews site development plans for commercial, industrial and subdivisions.
