Job summary

Jaynes Corporation seeks an Engineering & Development Coach to mentor Project Engineers and APMs while performing PE/APM duties on multiple projects. The role combines coaching with hands-on project involvement across planning, scheduling, procurement, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial construction PM/engineering, strong leadership, and proficiency with Primavera, Procore, Timberline, and MS Office. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management or engineering roles.
• Proven experience mentoring or coaching engineering/PM staff.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, codes, and processes.
• Basic knowledge of construction contract law.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, train, and develop Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers in technical, managerial, and operational competencies.
