Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in Stafford, CT invites undergrad engineers to join its Engineering Development Program, a hands-on path on the production floor with rotating learning across plating, drill, rout and test.

Year 1 focuses on supporting critical processing lines while learning processes; Year 2 expands to engineering project support including automation ideas; Year 3 covers implementation of intern projects and entry-level engineering tasks.

Qualifications

  • Able to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Commit to at least one shift per weekend and three weekends per month.
  • Must be able to safely lift 35–50 lbs.
  • Able to stand for long periods.
  • Have good reading vision, color discrimination, and hearing perception.

Responsibilities

  • Year 1: Support critical processing lines (Plating, Drill, Rout, Test) while working the production floor to learn processes.
  • Year 2: Continued support of critical processing lines and support Engineering projects (automation ideas, DOE processing, yield improvements). Introduction to Ignition and Andon.
  • Year 3: Support former intern-project implementation and entry-level Engineering projects; potential robot/PLC builds, SOP updates, traveler modification, throughput improvements.
