Job summary

NWU in Auburn, AL is seeking a Civil Engineering student intern to support project delivery. You will review engineering plans, perform quantity take-offs, assist with scheduling and computer modeling, and help produce progress reports.

Work closely with engineers, drafters, and support staff, gaining hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Word and Excel while learning cost estimates under close supervision of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an accredited Civil Engineering degree; current 3rd year undergrad or graduate student.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for clear documentation and interaction.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Commitment to integrity, ethical behavior, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details
