Job summary

LPU Batangas in Auburn, AL is seeking a driven Civil Engineering student intern to support engineering teams on project plans, quantity take-offs, scheduling, modeling, and progress reporting. You’ll collaborate with engineers and drafters, contributing to drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under supervision.

Ideal candidates are organized, communicative, independent, and eager to learn, with experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Current 3rd year undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D required.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details
• Perform quantity take-offs
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling
• Assist with computer modeling
• Assist with producing progress reports
• Collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and support staff
• Assist in production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under close supervision of senior engineers
