Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking an Engineering Design Associate to provide work management system support, data entry of Design Tool information, and general assistance to Designers within the engineering and construction planning process.

You will coordinate with internal and external customers, manage work orders, and help prepare drawings for overhead and underground projects. A degree or related experience and strong computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience with customer service support preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide work management system support and data entry for Designers.
• Enter projects using field notes, templates, or approved methods.
• Assist with preparing work orders and updating status in the system.
• Coordinate with customers on schedules, outages, and CIAC details.
• Generate and print reports from the work management system.
