The intern will assist lead mechanical engineers with part and assembly design, drawings, and CAD drafting using Solid Edge and Pro-E, and will help document processes and ISO updates. This is a full-time student internship with a 40-hour schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Full-time student enrolled in a four-year college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in related Engineering program or a related technical discipline.
• Excellent problem solving skills and the pragmatic application of strong design theory and analytical skills.
• Minimum GPA 3.0

Aufgaben

• Support lead Mechanical Engineers with part and assembly design, engineering analysis and test.
• Assist on projects including creation of new drawings and machine layouts, spare lists, and documentation of machines.
• Provide drafting support using 2D/3D CAD packages (Solid Edge and Pro-E).
• Create engineering design guides and assembly instruction sheets.
• Update ISO documentation as needed.
• Standardize documentation and update drawings into 3D models for interchangeability.
• Create spreadsheets/charts to document productivity.
• Support the electrical engineering and R&D departments as needed.
• Interpret custom specifications from purchase orders, BOM development, and related tasks.
• Document daily work and maintain project records.
