Job summary

Okuma Corp. is seeking a Technical Data Specialist to manage machine option codes, descriptions, configuration rules, and engineering data critical for CPQ processes. The role coordinates RFEQs and supports data quality, reporting, and governance across engineering systems.

The ideal candidate combines engineering data expertise with SQL, BI tools, and CAD familiarity to enable accurate configurations and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with CPQ systems and product configuration processes.
• Experience with SQL databases, data analysis, and BI tools such as Power BI or Alteryx.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process incoming Requests for Engineering Quotations (RFEQs) and track status.
• Maintain machine option codes, descriptions, configuration rules, and related databases to ensure data accuracy.
• Promote data quality and compliance with naming, numbering, and configuration standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and other business units to support objectives and data initiatives.
• Serve as a technical resource for engineering data management and product configuration initiatives.
• Adhere to all company employment policies and safe work practices.
