Job Description

WHO WE ARE

Led by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Technology Risk secures Goldman Sachs against hackers and cyber threats. We detect and prevent cyber intrusions, develop secure applications and infrastructure, measure cybersecurity risk, and implement cybersecurity controls. Our team operates globally across the Americas, APAC, India, and EMEA.

Within Technology Risk, the Strategic Execution and Portfolio Management & Chief Operating Office leads strategic initiatives supporting information security and cybersecurity, including change management, process improvement, and managing audit commitments. The team also manages business operations related to talent, project management, financial planning, vendor management, workforce strategy, communication, and workplace experience.

You will lead a new team dedicated to transforming and optimizing the Technology Risk function, enhancing effectiveness and efficiency. Collaborating with leadership, you will set measurable goals aligned with strategic and regulatory objectives, engaging with engineering teams to accelerate delivery, foster innovation, and develop sustainable solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years in a Technical or Program Management role, preferably in financial services or technology
  • Experience with technology process improvement, transformation models, control frameworks, automation, and location strategy
  • Strong communication skills tailored to diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build relationships and consensus
  • Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking under pressure
  • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, risk identification, and control assessment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Curiosity and motivation for innovative solutions
  • Experience in engineering or cybersecurity environments preferred
  • Experience in risk, compliance, or IT/security roles preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks
  • Experience in audit, compliance, quality assurance, or consulting
  • Data analysis and visualization skills, including Excel and other tools
