Job summary

Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort in Kissimmee, FL is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to support the daily operations of the Engineering Department and help ensure guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained resort.

You will manage and track maintenance and service work orders, assist with scheduling, procurement, inventory, and serve as a link between Engineering and other departments while upholding Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic.

Qualifications

• Must have some admin/support experience in facilities, logistics, or operations.
• Experience in maintenance or construction environments is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Job Description

The Engineering Coordinator will support the daily operations of our Engineering Department and help ensure our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained resort. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys organization, communication, and helping teams work efficiently. What You Will Do As An Engineering Coordinator

• Manage and track maintenance and service work orders from start to finish
• Support managers with scheduling, follow‑ups, and prioritizing service requests
• Coordinate with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and other teams to ensure room access and smooth guest turnover
• Assist with procurement, inventory tracking, and vendor communication
• Maintain accurate records and prepare simple reports on work order performance
• Help identify ways to improve workflows and reduce delays
• Support team members with basic system questions and troubleshooting
• Serve as a communication link between Engineering and other departments
• Assist with safety and compliance tasks as needed
• Perform other duties that support the Engineering team

What You Will Bring

• 1–2 years of experience in administrative support, facilities, logistics, or operations
• Experience in maintenance or construction environments is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Experience with work order systems (HotSOS or similar) and procurement tools (Oracle a plus)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office
• Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Problem‑solving skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude

Education
