Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. seeks a student to join the Supplier Quality team at the Ave Maria, FL facility for a winter-spring co-op from January 2027 to June 2027.

You will investigate, disposition, and document supplier provided materials under engineering guidance and participate in root cause analysis and DMAIC projects. The role emphasizes communication of issues, adherence to task requirements, and delivering results.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an engineering degree (Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, or Materials Science).
• Statistical analysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review opportunities for inspection alignment or efficiency gains.
• Review parts on hold and develop reporting to allow stakeholders to drive for product release.
• Assist in and develop strategies in reducing overall open nonconformances at AMIE, as well as reducing overall age and time to close.
• Assist with generating the month over month metrics report outs.
• Other duties as assigned.
