Arthrex is actively searching for a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical, Biomedical or Chemical Engineering or Materials Science/Engineering degree, to support the Supplier Quality team in Ave Maria, FL (AMIE). The Supplier Quality team at AMIE is responsible for supporting supplier quality activities at AMIE. The successful candidate will investigate, disposition, and document supplier provided materials with guidance from the engineering staff. The individual will perform various actions (such as root cause analysis, continuous improvement, DMAIC) and will be detail oriented in the execution and documentation of these actions. The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner. Ability to effectively communicate, oral and written, and possess the ability to work through technical issues.
Knowledge of surgical equipment/instrumentation and mechanical testing equipment preferred. PC, ProEngineer or other 3D modeling software, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
