Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. invites engineering and technology students to join the Parallel Co-op Program. This on-site, part-time/co-op arrangement blends summer full-time work with a school-year part-time schedule, offering mentoring and real product development experience.

You'll engage in design, simulation, testing, controls, embedded software, and data analytics across engines, powertrains, and machine systems, building skills in MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, C/C++, Python, and data-driven problem solving.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time in a 4-year ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA at your current institution (no rounding).
• Sponsorship is NOT available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Work with product development teams on design and simulation tasks.
• Develop embedded software in C/C++ and use MATLAB/Simulink for controls.
• Gain experience in validation, data analytics, and process engineering.
