Job summary

You will support packing or process projects, help meet safety and quality targets, and participate in commissioning and verification of new equipment while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting. You will collaborate with operators and leadership, document procedures, and develop problem-solving and data-analysis skills within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Engineering Degree;Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, and Packaging preferred.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Must be able to work without sponsorship.
• Preferable availability for multiple rotations.
• Must define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Must relocate to/reside near Cincinnati reporting location for duration.
• Work in office and plant environments and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for deadlines.
• Participates in meetings to represent operations and support projects.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects in packing or process department at Cincinnati plant.
• Assist in safety, quality and reliability metric efforts.
• Participate in commissioning, qualification and verification of new equipment.
• Contribute to sustainability improvements (waste and energy savings).
• Document procedures and present results to operators and plant leadership.
• Analyze problems and data, propose improvements and teach practices.
