Job summary

GAF is offering a Project Engineering Co-Op for 2027. This full-time internship lets undergraduates experience real projects with experienced engineers, performing hands-on tasks in chemical, electrical, and mechanical engineering.

You will rotate through assignments with formal reports, participate in problem solving, QA activities, and data analysis. A GPA of at least 2.8, 6-month terms, and teamwork along with communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA; sophomore standing preferred.
• Strong problem solving, project management, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to generate concise technical reports and present findings.
• Familiarity with Google tools, MS Visio and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Perform raw material quality assurance activities and material performance.
• Conduct problem solving investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Support quality improvement initiatives with suppliers.
• Provide technical support and analytical analysis for material issues.
• Engage with data flow/technical diagrams and rotate on projects.
