Job summary

Parker Hannifin’s Parflex Division in Fort Worth, TX offers an Engineering Co-op Program that rotates through multiple engineering departments, providing hands-on experience across mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related disciplines.

As an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer I or Co-op, you will help design, test, and improve production processes, support new and existing components, and contribute to cost reduction, quality improvements, and safety enhancements.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering field that maintains an Engineering Internship Program.
• Ability to work across a variety of engineering and manufacturing assignments.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interface effectively with all contacts.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a collaborative, participative team player.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications; CAD knowledge (AutoCAD or Creo/Pro-E).

Responsibilities

• Acquire knowledge of the operations, functions, and workflows of engineering departments.
• Observe assignments and participate in hands-on projects or special assignments.
• Maintain communication with program coach/mentor to provide feedback on assignments.
• Attend related training and apply learnings to work assignments.
• Perform other related responsibilities.
