Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering while in sophomore year or higher.
• Willing to work with machinery and modify equipment.
• Preferred knowledge or experience with production or machining equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of organizational skills and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office) with an ability to learn new systems and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of tooling and fixture optimization.
• Helping to support current equipment and projects driven from safety and quality concerns.
• Aid in the design and construction of new equipment.
• Assist the programming and implementation of process tracking on new value stream line.
• Conduct time studies and make recommendations for capacity improvements.
• Update work instructions for processes as needed.
