Job summary

Key projects include developing a methodology and database for Returned Goods Analysis (RGA) reports, with guidance from the Application Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree.
• GPA 2.5 or higher per semester.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work with engineers, customers, and production teams.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical system analysis for shaft, gear, and bearing arrangements using BearinX, Schaeffler's proprietary analysis software.
• Conduct failure analysis investigations through detailed inspections of returned parts.
• Prepare technical analysis reports summarizing findings, root causes, and recommendations for customers.
• Consult with customers to understand their application needs and technical requirements. Recommend suitable bearing solutions to help customers achieve their desired service-life targets.
• Facilitate prototype and sample production through order entry and coordination with production plants.
